to anonymous march 24th. You did not get ripped off on your supplies, companies give you extra paper for calibration purposes...example when you load media and printer kicks out 1-5 blank prints. the ribbon is whats used to determine number of prints not paper. hope this helped.

to anonymous march 24th You did not get ripped off on the supplies, the reason you have a little more paper is for calibration purposes... all dye sub printers do this your supplies are based on the amount of ribbon, not paper. DNP printers are the one of the best available. hope this helps.

to anonymous march 24th, the reason why you get extra paper is for calibration, you didn't get ripped off. the ribbon matches the paper not the other way around, hopes this helps The printer is one of the best on the market too.

I love that I can get extra sizes with this same paper media. Wasn't possible before. Great quality.

I wish I hadn't purchased this printer. The photo quality is just okay. The worst part is that the film (ribbon) does not last as long as a roll of paper and DNP will not sell the ribbon by itself. I have rolls of paper that I will never be able to use because I have no ribbon to print with. A very bad business policy on the part of DNP. Either have the ribbon and paper use match up, or sell the ribbon by itself so people don't end up with rolls of useless paper! I feel ripped off.
